There are still a few tuning houses in Europe that will take some of the most expensive cars on the market and turn the dial up to 11. Mansory’s latest effort, though, the RS6 Avant, might actually only turn it up to ten.

The first step is, of course, pumping up the power. Instead of the stock 591 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, Mansory’s version makes 720 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. Not bad. And it’s good enough for a 0-60 of just 3.2 seconds (0.4 seconds faster than the stock version).

Not a bad start.

But Mansory is better known for its visual—let’s call it—flair. And honestly, this time it looks alright. The body kit mostly stays within the bounds of good taste and, frankly, I like that orange stripe. The tail leans a little on the loud side with its angular exhaust pipes (and everything else), but it’s all reasonable.

Inside, Mansory’s gaudy tendencies start to lose me. Alcantara seats are one thing, but the steering wheel—specifically the Alcantara centerpiece and the carbon trim—are very loud. And interiors that make you wonder if there was a sale on a single material tend not to please me.

But hey, I’m not a European playboy, so what do I know of their requirements?
