What's the deal with this Marco - Polo joke???
I saw it once on The Simpsons, where Bart was shouting MARCO and Lisa replied POLO.... is that supposed to be funny, because i don't get it?

It's a game when you're a kid. Marco Polo was an explorer. So.....1 kid will have to wander around in the swimming pool with his eyes shut trying to find one of the other kids. To help out, the searcher will yell MARCO!! All the other kids in the pool will answer back POLO!! So the kid has to follow their voices to find him. Once he catches someone they have to be Marco.
