Had an interesting conversation last night with an applications engineer at JE last night.
I alway thought that low silicone forged pistons(2618 alloy) expand less then high silicon forged pistons(4032 alloy). But the applications engineer at JE told me the exact opposite.
Was he just being a jerk and pulling my leg, or was he correct?

Re: Material's question (16v)

Called Arias, they said 4032(the high silicone stuff) is the material that expands less.
Reading up on Wiseco pistons, they have what they call an "anti-detenation groove". Any real engineering behind this, or just a hook to catch buyers with?
