My co worker is buying a Mazda Protege. I tried to convince him to look at Jettas and Golfs with absolutely no luck.
Is there a place like this for Mazdas that I could send him to for tips?
thanks

Re: Mazda Site (Heinrich)

Over any similarly priced VW ($15k-$17k) I say he's making the right decision. Unless you can get into a 1.8T VW, the Protege is just plain better in my biased opinion.

Links:
• Edmunds has an entire Mazda Protege Owner's Community in their Town Hall. This is the best and biggest.

It's a great car. The ES, P5 and especially the MP3 handle extrememely well stock and the engine is more then adequate for anything but stoplight drags. They are built in Japan of Japanes parts and have a great reliability history. The Protege is a recommended buy in it's class in every mag I have read.
He won't be disapointed.
The aftermarket is small, but growing.
