Mercedes wheels on a Vee Dub?

I have noticed a trend emerging in Germany for fitting Mercedes alloys on Volkswagens. I think they look awesome, and really suit Volkswagens. I'd like to get a set for my B3 Passat, but how do you go about fitting them?
I believe all Mercedes use 5 x 112mm PCD, whereas the only VAG cars to use this fitment are the Audi A4 and B5 Passat, I'm told. Apparently these hubs can't be fitted to older cars like my B3, and the only way to get 5 stud on my car is to use Corrado VR6 or Golf Mk3 VR6 hubs which are 5 x 100mm PCD.
Any ideas would be much appreciated! In the meantime, check out these two Dubs and see what I mean!

i was actually gunna do monoblock II's on my jetta but im gettin a feeling alot of people are gunna be doing amg wheels on vws next season so i decided not too..you can have adapters made..theres a place that will do them for like 300 or something, the site was wheeladapters.com or wheelspacers.com or something like that i think

Those rims are nice!

My dream is to slap on a set of Carlsson 1/6 rims onto my GTI for a car show or something.
You can fit Benz wheels onto a VW using wheel adapters but you have to make sure the resultant offset is workable with your fenders.

Cheers guys! http://www.wheeladapter.com make adapters to fit any wheel to any car. Might try and find someone in the UK first though. Any ideas?

i can get a mercedes wheel i like in a 41 offset. the adaptor i found is a 20. this will give me an overall offset of 21 on a mk4. will it work? ohh bye the way the wheel is 18x8 and i'd be running 225/45/18 or 22/40/18 whatever will work

Can't help you on the offset issue, but where did you find the adaptor? Is it a 5 x 100mm to 5 x 112mm?
