From what I have read in the past about the D.O.T., they are trying to make all HID's illegal because of too many complaints by on-coming drivers. They complain that the lights are too bright and affects their driving. However, more and more companies are starting to include these as options. Anyhow, good luck. I would like to get OEM HID's without paid an arm and a leg for them http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

hehe well i go to Northeastern University, and well we have co-op / school which alternate and well i was in class and on co-op in the spring and now that its summer i am just in class.
not sure about the illegal issue. hope that that isnt true since id like to get HIDs myself. ill give the customer care a try.

Good luck with your attempt to sway their decision on HID's. I have heard that the Beetle gets them for '04, and they are already an option on the Touareg, so maybe you will have enough insight for them to offer them on all MKV's.
