Hey All
I recently purchased a 1990 corrado G60 and found out how to perform the MFA test. I would although like to know what is a normal boost pressure for this car as i feel my G-Ladder will need to be rebuilt. I have gone through most of the post but could not seem to find the info i'm looking for. I'm no tech or mechanic and this is what Kompressor Canada sent me.. Can someone be as kind as to explain this to a newbie in the corrado World. All i know is i have the stock pulley. This car has never been modified and counts 98,000K's

start motor
turn MFA to "2"
hold button-in at end of stalk (one hand)
stop motor (other hand!)
start motor
release button at end of stalk
press button at end of stalk.

Re: (KompressorKanada)

dunno what cars you guys own but the vdo's go up to 255 MAX
and the MOTOMETER (USA) go to 2000max (as in 1bar not 17psi!!)
If i posted that info someone on the net slap me cause there no way you're getting a 267 or 2200 out of either respective usa models. (can't speak for non usa destined models or one off whack jobs vw did)

p.s. the test is best done in 3rd or 4th gear at redline (6200). I strongly suggest a closed road(for vortex legal post heh), and a buddy to watch the MFA while you nail right under the redline and he looks at the MFA while you look at the road.
If you test it in 1,2 you won't have enough time to get a good reading unless bouncing the revlimiter is your idea of fun
