Is the 10K including the car, or you have 10K to do mods wiuth after you buy thew car?
if you only have 10K total, get a g60 and work it. if you have 10K after the car purchase, get a VR6 SLC. turbo the bitch,and work it. youll ahve an 11sec car

well figure, you could buy a rolling corrado chassis for like 2k. ticket to russia and back, 1k... find a cheap russian rocket, and pay some commie $50us for it, ship it back to the states...
tape and glue to get that rocket onto the corrado... $10 at business depot.. and you're set!

no no no, do like the guy did years and years ago. get an old JATO bottle off of like a C130 and weld it to the back of the car. point it in a safe direction and light the fuse. im sure it will so at least 12's kinda like wylie coyote strapping himself to an acme rocket.

Buy a tarted up vr6. Buy the apt kit. Buy quaife. Assemble. Save the rest for when it all goes wrong. The key is to do it all yourself. Its very possible. But save your money refuse to spend on anything that is not essential or the best deal ever.

You'll have to excuse us 'round here. We Corrados owners are a strange lot I must admit. I think it comes from years of inhaling the fumes of burning coolant. I know you got a buch of smartass responses but the simple reality is that you cannot purchase a Corrado and then modify it with a total busdget of $10K and have a car that fast. Just not gonna happen.......

go T3 turbo on a G60 with bigger injectors and push 20 psi. With a matched chip, that should put you in the 13s. The power would be there, getting to the 13s would really depend on how good of driver you are, though.

or you could just swap in a new 1.8t if you get the corrado cheap enought and throw on a stage 3 kit..a guy on the 1.8t forums runs 12's and he has stock internals.. for now..besides the stage 3 or 4 upgrade, he also has additional fuel injectors and an afic to contorl them.

corrado "drag king" bill shimmel pulled off an 11.53, and we've all been trying to top him... and we haven't come within 3 seconds of the guy.
so uhm... do some research before drawing conclusions!
