I would have your charging system checked to begin with, to see if your battery/alternator are in good shape. Your lights in your speedo and MIL/CEL will go nuts because all the different computers don't have enough juice to run correctly. Deal with the charging issue, scan the car and clear the codes. You could see if the codes come back but usually a low battery or faulty charging system will make all the lights go wonky! Good Luck!
