I plan to start going here for service and was curious what people's experiences have been (good, bad, ugly, people to/not work with, etc.).
Thanks for any info http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I highly recommend them. They seem to be the ONLY reputable dealer in Fairfield County. I've switched customers from both New Country and Danbury VW and they still thank me for it. They don't give you any bull-ish. The service guy, George, is very good.
I bought my 337 from them and would buy from them again. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I feel exactly the opposite.
I live 2 blocks from there and used to go there for free service things...
Terrible. http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif Especially George.
Back when they were still giving me free oil changes, I would give them my own synthetic 5w-30 to put in, and they put in thier own (non-syn) by mistake.
I had to make them drain it out and what should have taken half an hour, took a whole day.
On my mk3, they replaced a Sunroof under warranty once and took them 2 weeks to get it right.
Whoever installed the new one in, didn't put in a crucial piece to catch any water that would normally get drained out. My interior was soaked after a rainstorm and they had to replace that as well...
But that was before they brought in a whole new slew of guys.
They do have one service rep there named Jeff, who is a real good guy though, and he's the only reason I continue to keep going there.
The parts department guys aren't too bad either.

That's too bad.
