[MEISTER]

Nikki's water broke at 3:30 on Friday, 17 hours of labor 8 cups of strong Starbucks coffee later, she finally delivered Saturday morning at 9:33 am. I only got 2 hours of sleep friday/Saturday night and they were on the floor of the delivery room floor - the last night only 4 hours. I'm totally tired, but is worth every waking moment I was up.
The funny thing is after Nikki delivered, she said - "I thought it was going to be worse." I never would have thought I would have heard that out of her mouth.... especially 5 minutes after delivering. Nikki is still in alot of pain after having to have a epiziotomy, but Mom and baby are doing just fine.
Ava Elizabeth Meister - Born August 19th 2006 @ 9:33 am
8 lbs 3 oz. - 19.5" long - No problems 100% healty.
