Ok, for all of you who crazy guys here who order stuff all the time from across the pond (UK, Germany etc) I have a question for ya. What do you guys pay in terms of shipping for an item like rims? Let's say they're 17's and are coming with tires on them from the UK. I'm trying to figure out how much this SHOULD or WOULD cost and what shipping service you guys would recommend that would be fairly cheap. I'm not too picky on how long the rims would take to get here, just that they'd get here

Any help would be appreciated http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif I know some of you have to know SOMETHING about this because I've seen those crazy wide BBS rims someone got a while back...

Well, that would be me.

er... yes, they were shipped via the German postal service... took two weeks to get here, and ran in around $120 US for the four rims... but these are hella light rims, and no tires.
For your stuff, I'd say look at around twice that.... tires weigh a lot. And the size of them make a difference, too... Also, if you are buying new, you'll have duties to pay on top of that.

The rims I'm looking to get arent hella light i dont think... they're S3 rims

I paid a tad under $200 for my 17" Audi S3 wheels to be sent from Germany to the US. They were boxed and sent one at a time (my man over there has a small ass car and could only fit one box at a time!). Mine came normal airmail and carried insurance. Shipping time was about 3 weeks except the last wheel - it took about 5 weeks and I missed Waterfest.

I just used some conversion site and 71 kg comes to 156 lbs? Does that sound right? What's the UKL stand for?

Lob - what was Cdn duties & taxes ? Standard 15 % ?? I'm thinking of bringing in some smaller items in Canada, euro lights, grills and such. Just wanna know before the fact what I'll probabbly end up paying in the end.

It's just that I've been shopping for rims forever now and the one pair I've found that I think looks the best for the long run is these. Especially after I found this picture awhile back

Nah, don't sweat it. It's just with my twisted mentality, it's an excuse to buy new wheels.

I've also been lusting after Neeper Haaz for quite awhile now.. I'll have to get a price quote, right Bran?
