will it work ?
Just got a mk1 and have a 1.8 t motor. What is needed to make this work?
I dont need wiring because I have a tec2, but will the motor mounts from a mk1 work or a mk3? Is the linkage from a mk3 the same? The reason I ask because I have a 2L parts from am mk 3 laying around. Any comments?

nope, can't be done so just give me your 1.8T so I can swap it in my A3 Jetta!

VRT: check http://www.tracracing.com they know quite a lot about engine swaps and rae rather quick at answering questions.
