are there any 6 speed trannies made for mk1 or 2's? i think i've heard of the 02M but i think that's for a mk3... does anyone know of a 6spd that will bolt up to an 8v or16v engine?

It is a kit from many years ago that adds a 6th gear onto the end of a 5 speed 020.
You don't hear more about them because most of them have failed by now.

With VW making a compact 6 speed that will bolt to 4-cyl blocks like the 02M and 02S or whichever it is, there isn't much demand for a kit to update an old trans to a 6 speed.
