Yeah!
Beer, boomboxes, and big hair, the 80's were the Bomb! (can I still say that?)
And it's amazing how common Beetles used to be, isn't it? Nowadays I sometimes go days at a time without seeing one.
Not to rain on the parade, but the Jetta actually wasn't as nice as I first thought, considering it was nearly new at the time.
The really sad part is that all these people are probably pushing 50 now....

I know, because I'm the right age to have been in the same crowd back in the day....
