im currently building an ABA block with a 16v head but it wont be done for a while.
so i was wondering if an older 16v bottem end from a PL motor or an RV block from an 8V digi**** 2 would bolt up to the mounts for an ABA block in a MK3 so i can still take my car to the track in the meantime. i have plenty of older blocks and most of them have new sets of total seal rings in them, so im just checking if anyone has done it before...before i waist the time.

a lot of people swap mk3 into mk2...and mk4 into mk2...so id think you could put a mk2 block into a mk3, only thing is check your state laws becauase i think its illegal to put an older engine in a newer car
