I have an offer to buy a complete suspension setup out of a mk2 jetta for my mk3 jetta 2.0 ...i've heard that this will work but can anyone conferm this? is there anything extra i need to do?

Well, I just put my A3 suspension in my A2 (8v Golf into 16v Jetta) and everything worked out fine. Good luck.

Yes, but the A3 is heavier than the A2 so if it is factory suspension, it will be sloppy.
