...not entirly sure, lol. Motor and what not basically paid for itself but I i did buy a few extras as well "upgrades" as well. All in all I think I put about 1,700 of my own money into it but total cost was probably around 2,800. Thank god for cheap labor
$2500 to 2800 is about right for your average vr swap. dedicated2vw was very fortunate in the timing of his donor purchase, and was able to recoup some of his costs by selling other parts from his donor. Of course, those savings have been munched by some unpredicted maintenance issues, but all in all, about average for a vr swap.
