step 7 on page 40-10 reads:
-Tighten to 60 Nm (44 ft-lb)
-Compress coil spring before loosening WARNING DO NOT loosen nut (7) unless coil spring is compressed. The spring must not be exerting force on the nut.

i was installing it wrong then
i put the bearing under the mount then the mount on the spring cap then i used thehex nut to compress it all at once.

tbird man....the nut goes on top of the bearing,that holds the bearing down,and then the mount goes on top of the bearing/nut,then,installed on the knuckle,then the cap goes on from the top and the last nut.
