ok the mk4 dash is 53" long will it fit in a mk2 i have heard that there is someone in toronto canada that has it but i have not seen him/her is it possible to do that swap and if socan anyone tell me any problems that they have had doing this please

just looking at he dash in my mom's mk4, the dash is way deeper..in a mk4 you are much fatrher from the windshield... it must be a LOT of work + cutting to get it to fit

sure it will fit, everything fits with enough time and enough money...it may require some cutting to shorten the dash, or such...but I'm sure that you can make it work...if the price is that good...just go for it...

What dash is that? I think he was asking about a Mk4 Golf or Jetta... that looks good though.

hey guy's/gal's thanx for all your help i'm still not sure if it will fit so i think we will just get a mk3 dash for his mk2 i know it's been done to death but it looks better than the mk2 dash i think anyway

There was a guy on here with a Red GTI that was doing a MK4 dash swap but he only showed the begining of the swap and I haven't heard from him since
