Hey guys, I'm new here and hopefully this is the right section for this thread, but I've been following y'all's advice here for a while now with my MK4 big turbo build. That being said I need some advice on an oiling issue I've just encountered on my builds final stages where my oil filter housing and head are getting zero oil. I've just pulled the filter housing and it's mostly dry aside from one small oil port. Has anyone come across this problem before? I definitely used too much sealant on the gasket but I'm not quite understanding how oil isn't reaching the entire housing like this. My factory oil pressure light didn't seem to have an issue for the 30 to 45 seconds I had it cranked but my aftermarket one clued me in on the issue as it's connected via sandwich plate to the housing. It has a brand new OEM oil pump from ECS tuning, fully built AWP 1.8T with IE H-beam rods and Wiseco 9.6:1 Pistons. Any help is appreciated, thank you.
