Just got the new City/Park lights from deautokey.com, great people to deal with very prompt responses and all my other LED i get from them. so here's my review on these little guys, a simple nice looking mod you can do to your car with the bi-xenon headlights. These are error free, no light out errors occurred. Took me literally a whole 2 minutes to do this here's a little step by step:
here's the link to the LEDs- http://deautokey.com/product/mk6-gti-golf-osram-city-lights-error-free-plug-play
<a href="http://s26.photobucket.com/user/videotoasterboy/media/IMG_6373.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c102/videotoasterboy/IMG_6373.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo IMG_6373.jpg"/></a>
First, Pop your hood (self explanitory)
These are made for the Bi-Xenon housings like this:
<a href="http://s26.photobucket.com/user/videotoasterboy/media/IMG_6375.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c102/videotoasterboy/IMG_6375.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo IMG_6375.jpg"/></a>
Second go to the back of your bi-xenon housing and you'll see a twist off cap that looks like this:
<a href="http://s26.photobucket.com/user/videotoasterboy/media/IMG_6374.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c102/videotoasterboy/IMG_6374.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo IMG_6374.jpg"/></a>
turn that guy counter clockwise to twist off, then you'll see a tab looking thing kind of sticking out in the open, looks like this with all the ridges:
<a href="http://s26.photobucket.com/user/videotoasterboy/media/IMG_6376.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c102/videotoasterboy/IMG_6376.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo IMG_6376.jpg"/></a>
pretty easy to pull that out,
<a href="http://s26.photobucket.com/user/videotoasterboy/media/IMG_6381.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c102/videotoasterboy/IMG_6381.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo IMG_6381.jpg"/></a>
Here it is once it's out with the old bulb:
<a href="http://s26.photobucket.com/user/videotoasterboy/media/IMG_6378.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c102/videotoasterboy/IMG_6378.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo IMG_6378.jpg"/></a>
simply pluck that bulb out and put the new LED one in. THESE ARE POLARIZED so they will only work one way so before you put everything back together just throw on your lights real quick, if it doesn't turn on pull it out turn it 180 degrees and put it in. here's a photo with it in:
<a href="http://s26.photobucket.com/user/videotoasterboy/media/IMG_6379.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c102/videotoasterboy/IMG_6379.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo IMG_6379.jpg"/></a>
<a href="http://s26.photobucket.com/user/videotoasterboy/media/IMG_6380.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c102/videotoasterboy/IMG_6380.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo IMG_6380.jpg"/></a>
now that it works put it back in the housing, you'll get a slight snapping/locking in place sound once it's seated correctly in the housing. then just repeat for the other side and you're done! check em out! a nice little mod you can leave on at a car show while you're walking around that'll make your car stand out. here are some photos:
