My timing belt and water pump will need to be replaced soon on my MKIV GTI 1.8, I am new to the captial region and I am in search of a respectable shop(s) to do work on my car including the timing belt replacement. Most importantly I am looking for quality and reliabilty at a reasonable price. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Mk4 1.8T Timing Belts are something we do all the time (usually several a week!)... Proper replacement includes the timing belt, tensioner, water pump, thermostat, and serpentine belt, we recommend this service anytime after 60K, but definitely before 75-80k. The service can be completed within a day while you either wait in our waiting area (Wi-Fi, TV, etc) or we can provide a rental car for you for the day. We are also very close to MARC/Light Rail stations.
