Couple of errors/omissions in that chart....
The new Skoda Superb also uses the Passat's B5 platform, and the VW Touareg (nee Colorado) is NOT a VW D-car - it's based heavily on the upcoming T5 platform (Eurovan/Caravelle/Multivan/Transporter).
Re: MKIV platform is shared by? HELP! (IndigoTwo-Oh)

lately they're mk iv

No they're not. You're wrong. They are MKIII not MKIV and they'll never be an MKIV cabrio. If you see a new cabrio it will be MKV at the earliest. You'll probably see an MKIV Beetle convertible though.
The other misleading thing about that chart is that it does not recognize generational differences. The Polo and the Fabia for instance are on the new A0, whereas the Ibiza and Cordoba, Polo Variant and Polo Classic are on the old A0. The Lupo and Arosa are on the A00.
The Audi A4 is on the new B6 chassis, whereas the Passat and the Superb are on the old B5 chassis.
They are correct BTW. The Cabrio currently is a cosmetic refreshening of the Mark III car, to make it look like a Mark IV. We need to do a chart of our own I think.
