MKIV Seats in My Jetta III....Is it Possible?

505 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Johnny G
There is a auction on eBay for the MKIV Leather Seats, and I would like to put them in my car. I was wondering if anyone has made this conversion? How much work is involved, and does any modifications that need to be done? Thanks in advance!

Lots of mods to the frame. Lotsa money too. I thought about it.. but you have to mod the brackets and the rail on the car to make it fit.

sorry charlie.

Ask 98JettaGT aka Felix (I think that's his screenname)
He is attempting to put a set in his car this weekend. I get to see how it goes cause I'll be there doing some things to my car.

my ears were burning...
It is POSSIBLE. It is not a direct bolt-in. It will require that you modify the seats and make some irreversible modifications to the stock mounting points.
The rear seats are slightly easier, but still require a great deal of fabrication of parts.
