I have one brand new in box, but it looks slightly different than the one in the pic. It is the Momo cobra aluminum/leather sides, but it looks more "polished" than the one in the picture.
I personally have the Momo Race Air leather with the SCR Adapter, but i don't have any pics. The SCR adapter is great, and looks really good with the finish of the race air leather.
If you are interested in the shift knob let me know.
BTW: where is lawrenceville, and will you be attending the next Philly GTG on Feb. 17th?

by the way... how much did you chop your shift down? or do you have a short shift kit? i dropped mine 1 1/2", and it's still to high...

I might be at that GTG... not sure yet.
Apparently there are two versions of the Momo Cobra (according to someone else who has this knob)... an older one that looks more polished and a more recent one that looks brushed. The brushed one is the one in my original post. I'd prefer the brushed look so I'm going to order one from LBT. And if it turns out that it is the same polished looking knob that you have, I think I'll sell it and get the Race Air Leather.

Helix- yeah, this is definitely the older one. I love the race air leather, I had one in my corrado, and when i saw the SCR adapter for our cars, I got the race air leather for my GTI. It has a great feel, and there isn't too much aluminum on it to get hot in the summer.
ri-v-dub - i didn't chop my shifter down, but i do plan on getting the diesielGeek Short shifter in the next couple months.

I was thinking of buying one of those sony decks, (even though I hate sony, PS2 excluded)

NorthBora- I hate sony HU's also, but this one came highly recommended by my local stereo shop which primarily sells Alpine and Eclipse. Just make sure you get the Sony Mobile ES model, you will notice a difference. For some reason, the Mobile ES line is always a thousand times better than the normal Sony products, and they seem to be better quality pieces.

cdx-m610 because it had more flexiblity with equalizing... the next model up the m620 had all presets.. like jazz and rock and that kinda cr*p... i like it... if i get any shot of it soon i'll post them... good luck choosn'

i wish i could... but i don't have a digital camera at the moment... i gotta do it slow way and scan them... but i can tell you it looks sweet... i've always had good luck with sony products, but i've never owned a sony hu, but so far so good and it sounds good with the monsoon too... i also got b/c my sister in laws brother got the same one right around the time i got my golf and when i saw the colors it matched perfectly to the interior of the golf... all the actions lights up red and everything else is blue... like it was made for vw... so anyways... i got the hey man... can I see some more pics of your deck, maybe a night shot too
