I am trying to re hook up my monsoon CD changer but it won't work. I bought the car and it previously had one but it was not in the car, the wires and harness is still there though. So I go to hook up my changer from my old GTi and it wouldn't work. Anyone have any suggestions.

sounds like you need to reprogramm the head unit with a VAG-COM.
the HU needs to be coded to recognize the changer before it will play the signal/control the unit...
