Motronic harness, Can vs. US(cal)

Does anyone know if a wiring harness from a 92 GTI from california would be any different than the others? I'm thinking of emmisions.. Or would any differences be only in the ECU? If any at all..

Anybody? Just a quick yes or no? They must be the same right?

There is the check engine light (and switch) for the fault codes
the EGR valve, or whatever it is called

I think 88 Jetta is right. BTW, the Garrett chip turns the check engine light off, since you won't have an EGR valve.

Thanks!
Hmm... but what about the chip that comes with Matrix's turbo kit?

Good question. I'll bet they would though. I corresponded w/ Jeremy (you should see his Audi!) a while ago about chips - he was extremely helpful. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Yea they do seem like a good bunch to deal with.. And I'm planning to shortly after I get my motronic installed
But I'm still not even sure where I'm getting the harness from yet so I'll hold off on the harassments...
Or maybe one of them will happen to read this thread and let us know, And leave a picture of his Audi
