That is some insane timing. It was on race gas right... Why is the TB angle only 83%

Pump gas
I ran 29degr timing on 25psi boost earlier this summer .
8.0:1 pistons
Early motronic 97-99 = 83% max TB
and 99% load = max
the strange thing is that the load should be based on rpm and maf signal .
So i have no clue why its same load value with different maf values

load is the value your ecu calculates as its target torque. the load function is the basis of how the ecu calculates other values, like torque and AF. it should be well over 100% at WOT. its mainly calculated by throttle input (gas pedal) but will at times not go as high as it should when there are other problems. the fact that your TB also didnt open all the way suggests youre having problems, unless this was a part throttle log. youre DBW right?
edit: just read that youre early motronic. load isnt just based on rpm and MAF input. it has many variables.

Old N/A ecu = 99,5% load max
Its not DBW = 83% is max (motronic max)
