hello all
military is moving me again
just got a 86 golf and a 56 oval ragtop
Just lost my 97 jetta due to an total loss/damn insurance
help me out if anyone is interested in the 56 oval ragtop i'll bring it down-if not i'll sell it here in washington st

When are you gunna arrive? I got orders to ROK and will be leaving at the end of March. We could still meet up if you get here before that, then I can show you around and introduce you to the phoenix VW scene....

I am here at Luke too, my husband leaves in April for Korea. Look me up when u come out here, I drive the only corrado on base i think.

You may get good money out of you oval here, but more people would be interested in an AZ car. Rust factor!! But if the car is rust free you may still be able to sell it at a good dollar.

We have a couple of vw shops like EVO and APEX just kidding total hondafaction shop. Is the bug complete? Do you have any pics of it, and what is the rust factor?

There are a couple true dub shops but they are primarily air cooled. One of the air cooled shops is delving more into water cooled stuff so we'll see.
There is also a shop called Evo that deals with mainly MKIV's and Audi's from what I can tell. Supposedly there is a shop in Tucson called Landspeed USA but I have yet to see anything from them in Phoenix.

The dub scene is definitely getting better. There is certainly a similar attitude to what you describe, laid back and helpful. Nothing like the asian import scene, thankfully. any true dub shops?[HR][/HR]

i also can get ahold of a black 57 oval window/1600cc/recaro seats but don't know if that would be worth it---front end has paint chips from rocks
