I am about to buy a 97 A4 1.8T Manual, and was wondering how much gas mileage has been affected by chipping

he isnt looking for gains first of all he is asking about MPG. This wouldnt be the right place to ask the question but ill answer anyways. I get 26.X mpg mixed city highway.

I'm glad someone responded, after I posted I realized this is the wrong forum. That still sounds like pretty good fuel economy. I was just worried, from what I've heard of Honda boys with VTEC, chips, and more upgrades; they get MPG numbers in the low teens.
