sorry to fool you but im in dire need:
The car starts up everytime, it idles good too! but even if i give it a minutes to warm up when i put it into gear and drive off it BOG's down so bad i hit the gas and nothing happens. then i bucks a lil and shoots and kicks me back. then it drives fine the rest of the trip except the first 3 bouces of the idle are erratic then its fine. wth? anyone? i checked the distributer and idle stabilizer and for tiny tiny vacuum leaks and eveyrthing is fine. could it by the air/fuel mixture on the fuel dist? The car pulls nicely its just the get goin. thanks

Did you ever verify that your cold start valve was working?

indeed i did

I'm sure someone has told you intake boot. What you're descibing sounds like a classic cracked intake boot.

I had the same problem, my intake boot was fine. In my case it was the air/fuel mix. Can't say it's the same for you, but you never know. Definitly check the intake boot as the air/fuel mix is a tricky thing since the car always wants to stall when you adjust it

Yea, i said i looked for vacuum leaks, carb cleaner is my friend for everything.
i'll try the idle mix tomorrow.

this may sound stupid, but check the potentiometer on the fuel distributor. mine wasn't even plugged in
that and my intake boot was pinched so a lot of air was getting in and let's not even talk about the air/fuel ratio
anyway, got those taken care of and the car ran really well. the idle isn't going to be really precise since it is cis-e though.
