In which way do you mean its broken??
If someone told you its damaged because it has a small hole in it, its supposed to be there, it helps everything breathe better. It will probably throw a bit of grease around, but that's why there's that nice little shield there to keep it from flying around all over your engine compartment.
If it is acually ruined, as in torn, or is already starting to dry out and crack, that would be another story.

I have an appointment at the dealer this week for them to take a look. I didn't really look at it that close, don't want my finger prints on it so it looks like I had anything to do with is. (which I didn`t)
But, I noticed a big grease stain on the driveway... and after searching for the problem, I seen grease sprayed all over the wheel liner,a-arm, etc. I never really heard about them having a hole and dropping grease as a design feature.
