A few months back I replaced my battery because it was dead.
Now the same thing is happening again. Has anyone had this problem before??? I don't think it was the alternator because the battery lasted for 4-5 months before going dead. Hopefully its just a bad relay, not sure though. Thnx for any help

Oh, forgot to add that when I try to start it without getting a jump it obviously doesn't start, but also the passanger and rear drivers side windows go downt

I had the same issue with my old A2. I finally found out that the my amp got so hot that something 'welded' inside of it and was drawing too much power and drained the battery and melted a few wires here and there

It could be the alarm malfunctioning, I had this problem a few years ago, it was draining the battery prematurely. It was still under warrenty at the time so the stealership fixed it.

Re: My battery is draining because...? (tastydub)

Alright, so I look at the wiring diagrams in my bently manual for the power windows (since they were one of the things acting up) and the open/closed sensor is somehow wired into that circuit. Bout a year back the drivers side switch began to pop out, so I took it out today and snapped it back together, and the car started right up, does anyone think this is what did it?

Have you actually had your alt. checked? a battery can go slowly if the alternator isn't putting forth enough juice, but it's still juicing.
I've had it happen and everything was normal afterwards....
