OK, so I'm slightly disappointed, but not really. My dyno results today were a little lower then what I was hoping for, but still pretty darn good. The air/fuel ratio shows I'm running a little rich, so I think I could pick up a few more horses by backing the micture down a little bit. I guess you need the Schrick cams to get into the 150's at the wheels
Very good curves. Shows I have a lot of torque everywhere and power right up to the fuel cutoff.

My best run was 140.4 HP with 130.3 ft. lbs. of torque.

If ya didn't know, I'm running 2008 cc 16V, P&P 2.0 head with Autotech cams, springs and retainers. Shaved head good for 11+:1 compression, balanced, lightened flywheel, TT fuel enrichment module.

Re: My dyno results (Two-Point-Oh16V)

did you try dynoing without the fuel enrichment? im just curious. i heard from a reliable source that you could probably make as good power without the fuel enrichment and maybe make more power. ive also heard of the stock set-up is tunable to like 350hp? doubt that tho

Re: My dyno results (Two-Point-Oh16V)

Very nice. I'm running a similiar setup but at 1984cc. Is that with a 40 or 50 mani? You're right about the Schricks, but the Autotech set is not bad for smog legal. Very nice numbers.

It's a 40mm manifold.
Thanks!

Nope, I didn't make any changes between runs. I've heard about some rumors about it too, but I still trust TT. Someday I'll go back and play around in between runs.

Re: My dyno results (85roccoZ400)

not bad at all, i had a 2.0 16v with alot of engine work and pulled 162 at the wheels, considering all the work that was done to the engine i thought it should have been more. But the car was very quick and torque was great.

Youre making spot on power with your setup. I wouldnt be disappointed in that at all.

Easy for you to say, you pulled like 155 with yours, didn't you?

Re: My dyno results (Two-Point-Oh16V)

Nice numbers http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif but I think the CIS is killing you. My g/FS rocco put down 144.6whp and 139.x wtq with a stock 2l block, ported head by me
, autotech cams, custom CAI, TT downpipe/cat, TT straight thru exhaust, 40mm intake and digi 1. The a/f curve was funky for us, so we didnt get a linear power output. The new chip will fix that.
I dont think schricks are needed to get 150ish whp. Just some better engine management. I think you should easily get up there with some better tuning.

BTW: what dyno was this done on?

It was a dynojet at a new place in my hometown... http://www.dynolabs.com
California sucks for getting away with a different ingnition/fuel/engine management. If it doesn't belong with the engine, technically I can't run it in California. They check for that kind of stuff every two years. http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif

hee hee hee.....
<-- being annoying cuz it's past midnight and i'm bored and i have class in the a.m. and i can't possibly pass up a comment about my car.

although it -will- be pretty cool if my car hits 150whp with the air/fuel straightened out.................

Sucks about not being able to change fuel systems from other cars. Maybe swapping to CIS-M will provide alittle more "oommph" with timing advances. That should be a legal swap since its made for a 2l 16v.

Yep, and it's one that I could get away with. It doesn't look drastically different then CIS-e, so it wouldn't be a problem. The problem is finding a working motronic set up and installing it.

Re: My dyno results (Two-Point-Oh16V)

New rings, connecting rod bolts, bearings, seals, oil pump, windage tray, oil pan on the bottom end, engine was hot tanked, bottom painted flat black. Top end was refreshed with new oil seals, lifters, tensioner with new stud and nut and of course timing belt, new head gasket, new water pump and housing, new AC compressor, New Audi 120Amp internal fan alternator, new exhaust studs, 1600F ceramic paint on the exhaust manifold, intake sanded and finished in a brushed look, new injector shroud seals, air shrouds and polished brass top. Water flanges, oil flange/mount and breather sand blasted and refinished in cast aluminum ceramic paint, AC bracket sandblasted and done in flat black, intake supports are painted in cast iron ceramic (set from the original motor will be re-zinc plated and swapped in later). TT cams on order... I can't remember what else I've done.
Full Motronic setup (short the ISV) is in a box but this goes in after the motor is running... misc metal parts will be sent to get re-plated (zinc) but this too will happen after the motor is running using parts from the old motor. 1.8 head from the original motor will get P&P'ed and then swapped for the 2.0 head. Planned drop date is the 19-July. I'll start a new thread when we get closer.

what exactly did you tweak between the three runs?
6hp is a lot for tweaking... http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

The only thing that changed was that we shut the car down after the 2nd run and let the fan cycle through, and we increased the tire pressure. Nothing else was touched.
The guy running the shop said that was a pretty big jump as well.
