A customer came to my work driving this:
Clean, simple, neat, subtle. No tint, no pin-stripes, no bs http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Simple, multi-spoke dish wheels with big rotors

M steering-wheel, M 6-speed. Owner is in late 50's but notice the Valentine 1

Guages: simple as they get.

Classic Angel-Eyes

4.4L V8 crammed in there. I can't believethey have a 5.0L in the same bay.

Perfect car... now he just has to dump the Braman PB front plate, as it signifies he paid too much...especially if he bought it from my buddy who sells there.

Definitely one of my all-time favourite cars. The E39 will always be a classic.

He just needs to hardwire that Valentine One to clean up the dash.

Re: My E39 Apreciation (Deception)

I wish my dad got the sport package on his 540iA. Those 17" wheels look so much better than his 16s (although they look better in person than in this pic).
(yeah, that's my car next to it.

I used to have a '97 528i and loved the proportions and solidity of that car. It's honestly the only car I regret selling. I've been thinking about finding a Certified Pre-Owned 2003 530i in good condition as my next car. Definitely one of BMWs finest sedans IMHO.

My uncle has an '01 540i just like the one posted, but his is black and he has a Dinan chip. It's the first car he's ever loved.

If I could have any BMW, it'd be an E39 M5. Big ass car luxury car, that you can throw around.

Why not? They're physically the same size as far as I know.

My dad has got a '03 535i. (But I'm too lazy right now, to upload pics). It's his third E39. It's a great car. I love it. Nothing more to say.

Only complain I have is, if those bumpers were deeper, its woulda been perfect if it had deeper bumpers. I dont mean aggressive ones like M5. Just same design but deeper.

Re: My E39 Apreciation (JakeN20)

question anyone have info on this?
There is a 540i at my school a parent drives, its automatic, but when I first saw it, it had an M5 front end and 740i Sport package rims, but a regular 5series rear end. Is that a sport model?
