My first kill was a good one.........

I just got the APR 93 octane program the other day, so I was looking for someone to run with to "test" my new mod. On the way home from work yesterday I spotted a good candidate - what I thought to be a V-6 camaro. I slowed down so he could catch up and found out it was........ an LT1 Z28 - damn! It was a convertible, so I gave it a shot anyway. He wouldn't run at first - why would he waste his gas against my little hatchback? - but after a little pestering, I got him to bite. I was half a car ahead of him, holding steady in second at 3k. I heard him punch it, so off I go..... Almost instantly I pulled a car length on him and was inching away up until I shut down in fourth. I was just as amazed as he was. He complemented me on my car and of course asked me what was under the hood. I still can't believe it - I actually beat a V-8 Camaro in a straight line.

I had a similar experience. Was a few weeks after APR chipping my car. Was the first time my brother was in the car with me, so I was sitting at a stop light and decided to punch it so my brother could feel. Well, light turns green and I take off and get up to 55-60 or so, and realize its a 45 zone, so I let off the gas, and this silver ram air firebird goes flying past.
My brother thought I knew the guy was there because he was revving his engine and squealed his tires a little on the take off, but I didn't, but I never saw the guy till i let off the gas

On a LT1 he probably can. On a LS1, no way.

I might be able to believe that it was an auto, convertible LT1, and you pulled on him. But a ram air firebird is a whole different league. With just average drivers mid 13's is easy. High 12's are possible with the right driver. Chipped 1.8T's are quick, I'll give you that but you should know your limits when telling a "story".

hahaahahaahaah!!!! With just a chip?? A ram air one none the less??!!?
LT1's are world class engines, no doubt. LS1's make a little more power, are a little more high tech, but ram air versions of both are pretty close.
305hp 6-speed vs. 210 hp 5-speed =

I've had both, no competition...
