My Frustration Level risisng regarding Touareg

I do not intend to be rude, But while everone and their cousin are releasing info on their SUVs (Hondas new Pilot, Volvos XC90, Porsche's Cayenne), VW is not doing a thing. I called 1-800-drivevw to talk to a customer rep (Kelly) and she said:
"There is no info on the supposed VW suv. VW hasn't talked to Porsche about VW building one. There are no plans for production."
I about went a****ectic! If this is just a folly and the Touareg is a pipe dream, why am I wasting my time posting and reading these messages? There is a saying "Either S#@& or get off the pot!"
My frustration level is peaking. I am willing to wait, but if VW info says no plans, we might as well discuss foreign policy here and buy a volvo...

It is indeed frustrating to search the web and only find excellent Photoshop simulations of this Tuareg. Moreover, as time passes by more and more web pages containing infos about Tuareg/ex-Colorado are no longer accessible. I think either the project is not on track, or they prepare a soon-to-come more vast press release about the thing. If the latter, then it's about time. We're boiling here!!!

The Touareg will premiere in Paris, October 2002

It wil come out this fall, although I don´t know when it´ll see NA shores. Probably spring 2003.

My friend, who owns a very large dealership, said it won't be here until about June 03. Why would you expect pictures of a car that won't be on sale for a year and 4 months?
