She is wrong. The only thing like wiping your ass with a hundred dollar bill is wiping your ass with another denomination...currency doesn't have many tactile equivalents.

It is all relative to what you paid for the wheels. If you got the rims for less than $500 then they are perfect winter wheels, no need to look bad, just because it is wet and snowy.
The only problem I see with fat fives in the winter is getting all the salt out of the barrels regularly enough to prevent any pitting.

Kinda what I was thinking... They're easy to clean and really aren't worth that much. Seems like a good winter wheel to me.
