My GTI & my friend's Civic SiR (pics)

I finally got the chance to snap some pics with a friend of mine. He drives a '00 Civic SiR (Canada's equivalent to USA's Civic Si) in Vogue Silver Metallic, which I believe is a color that's not available on the US-spec Si. Mods to his car include an AEM cold air intake, Tein HA coilovers, OEM fogs, DIY smoked headlights, and a Momo steering wheel. He also has a set of 16" bronze Racing Hart wheels and a carbon fiber hood which aren't depicted in today's photos. Enjoy!

When I lived in L.A. I saw a lot (*a lot*) of mod'd civic SI's. I really like what your friend has done with his. And you're correct, that color is not a color available in the U.S. (at least AFAIK).

Hey, it's all well and good if you like that kind of thing. As far as I'm concerned, if there's no "W" in the name it's not worth driving *evil grin*

Great pics Deception. Weather looks great over there in VanCity! You should try coming to the Capital and FREEZING YOUR A$$ OFF!!
Anyways, I like civics that aren't crazy riced out, and your boy's civic is lookin' tight. I like the front grill.
Gotta say though, your dub is way nicer. Much faster too (unless he's turbo'd that SIR).

Nice cars, both.
Some people have no respect for honda's, I give honda's respect, unless it's a 16 year old, driving one that sounds like my can opener, doing 120mph weaving in and out of traffic.

i really like the honda also....my buddy used to have a 00 SIR in the same color with the same fogs.....nice cars.....
Deception, u know your car is slick....i thought u had that badgless grill....what happened to that?

Deception, that Civic looks very similar to one I've seen in West Van a number of times... One of the few local Honda/Acura cars I respect around town, it has a very simple and nice styling happening. Is he the guy I've seen, or is another cleanly done SiR?
