my interior is done (for now)

well pending the panavise cellphone mounts arival (its been like a month now)
the dash is done

the pillar and center console are custom
the pillar is an auto meter pod welded into the a pillar
the console is custom fiberglass

Wow, nice work on the custom gauge pods! A few questions: Is that the hazard switch in the cig lighter? What's goin on with the ashtray? And what's that hanging down over the glovebox?

^ you got it it is a hazzard switch from a saab 9-5 that will be the NO2 arm switch
and the cup holders are out and the console has a new custom plug in it that is removable and can be put completly back to stock
the thing hanging is a cellphone holder
I have a panavise mount on order tha holds it next to the climate contols using existing screws but it has been on backorder for like a month now

Where can I order a VW steering wheel like yours? Obviously it's what came w/ the car but mine came with the smaller not-so-beefy one. I was looking at getting a momo or something but they have no airbag... Plus I'd like to keep it OEM lookin'

http://www.tuningzubehor.com sells Raid wheels. If they don't have them try http://www.malibuboats.com (most new Malibus come with Raid wheels...they don't tell you that, but "Raid" is stamped into the back so the dealer might be able to get more)

t answer the ash tray question it is a speaker grill
my hands free cell phnoe kit speaker is behind the grill
no ore ash tray but I don't smoke
the only thing I had it the ash tray was a coulple of hiddeen switches
(if any one wants the ashtray switches let me know)
also I have vesion 1.0 of the a plilar if any one want it)
I want next to nothing for both of these
and I will help whoever wants them make them so they look like what you see above
all it takes is time
