My new 800 dollar GTI.... 56K beware maybe...

This is my new car. I just bought it for 800 bucks, so I can't complain. It's a 91 GTI 1.8L 8V. It runs, but it's a little rough. Doesn't matter, cause I have a 91 GL that I can pull parts from (as you can see in the pics), so I'll get er figured out sooner or later. Anyhow, tell me what you think! Oh, take a look at the plates on it too. If that isn't a sign from the VW gods that this car wants a 2.0L swap, I don't know what is.

can't complaint for $800 it looks pretty damn good.
and don't waste your money in a crossflow. the only crossflow i would use is the original crossflow aka 16v http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

thanks guys. I know she needs a wash, but I have to do a few other things first. As for the crossflow, a 16V would be cool, but it seems like a lot of work to put one in... I'll probably throw an ABA block under my head and go from there. Any suggestions on how to go about a 16V would be greatly appreciated though, as I do think they rule!
