My '99 Jetta Wolfsburg has less than 100k miles and has been one thing after another since I bought it a year and a half ago. The engine has been knocking lately and when I checked the oil it smelled like gasoline.
I am not sure what would cause this. It is knocking really bad and the oil smells strong of gasoline. It hasn't been 3k miles since my last oil change. If anyone knows what this could be please email me at
