ok, so a freind with a glx, and me in my gti (2.0-1.8 head-4k trans- and a lot of other poop) were told about some "hard core street racing" so we went to check it out, belive me it was hardcore, like 75 cars, (ranging from ricers to muscle cars)but no one is racing, so i said i will take the first beating, i pull up and a honda civic hatch back with a vtec swap pulls up( joy) so we take off and i destroyed him, i missed second, OUCH, and i still had him by a car and half, THEN... the rules are winner stays on, so i get a 97 golf vr6 that sounded mean, the kid said it "only" had cams, exhaust and chip" which means it should run like high 13's, so we take off, and at the end of first i had him by 1/2 car lenght, then at end of 2nd i had him by 1 car, when shifting into 5th at 110, we were neck and neck, moral of the story is "i just wanted to be cool" but i dont think he had cams and shoot if we were that close, but eh it was fun.... flame on
