My first thought was rolling meth lab but that vehicle is too nice and I don't see any flame damage. It does indeed appear to be explosive type of damage but the interior is not burned/melted and the rear quarter glass is still intact. It could be a non-flammable type of explosion like a pressurized tank of some kind.

I doubt a fork life because why would they pick it up from the front with the hood being in the way and no damage in the back portion of the roof.
