rebuilt the motor completely on my GLI 1.8T and having trouble timing it from scratch with the belt. It either ends up being half a tooth off in either direction and the intake cam sprocket notch is slightly past the arrow on the cam while the exhaust cam sprocket notch lines up perfectly with the arrow on the cam.
I don't know if I'm having trouble timing it because of the cams or if those are fine.
Anyone able to help?
Figured it out, just had to do it half a dozen times!
