[Pa beetle boy]

I have a 1998 mexican beetle and need a service manual for the car since there
is no VW support for the car here and the engine is electronically controlled version
of the old style engine. Any help with this matter would be deeply appreciated. Thanks, Bruce

I believe its a crude version of Digifant...maybe similar to the Digifant used on Foxes?

Digifant 1.82, similar to that used in Corrado G60.

Would it make sense to use the corrado service manual for this car? Was the corrado air cooled? Thanks, Bruce

The Corrado was not aircooled, but did use a load sensor (located in the ECU), which also features in the Sedan. Service procedures differ between models, ECUs and versions of ECUs. A Corrado service manual or Haynes manual for cars with similar setups are a good starting point until someone makes the appropriate Sedan manual available.
