Hey all, my Ford is a 2001 and I dont believe I have ever cleaned inside the gas door panel, after seeing the recent thread on cleaning door jambs I was intrigued to do both. Got any suggestions for thick grime? is simple green safe on paint?
I bought some of the Tarminator after suggested in the door jamb thread, do have some Greased lightning but no Simple green.
Also need advice on cleaning my pipes, they are just stainless in brush finish but have some caked on grime? steel wool? oven cleaner?
What process of cleaning would you recommend?

simple green and tarminator should work fine on gas door.
and for the pipes go with some steel wool and then metal polish.

Tarminator will work just fine and so will Greased Lightning.
Use a brush like this...

Hey, I have that same brush for cleaning out my coffee grinder!

They work very well for jobs like this.
