I need some advice on diagosing two error codes on my stock 1.8t 5-speed motor.
My "check engine" light on the dash just came on for the first time. Luckily my AutoZone will do a free diagnostic:
P0411- Sec.Air Inj.Sys. Incorrect Flow Detected
P1297- Connection turbocharger - throttle valve pressure hose
I haven't broken into the motor yet, but it seems I have some air leaks. My main question is if fix them, will the "check" light go out, or does the dealer need to turn it off. I know BMW dealers use a 'special' tool to turn off the light.
