change your battery wires, battery and alternator. 100$ from 1800vwparts for the alternator. its rebuilt..they give you a choice. change your crummy wires too. i made mine out of 02 gauge wire and i just swapped batteries at sears. my bigass battery is also in the trunk becasue i was gonna put an intercooler there but its getting a swap.
